Adobe Photoshop is the bitmap paint and photo-editing application within Creative Suite. Its’ core function is the creation, manipulation and enhancement of bitmap images and animation for print, new media and the web. With Photoshop you can create photo-montages, retouch and enhance photographs, paint, draw, create web pages as well as import 3D models and video.

You don’t have to have used Adobe Photoshop before signing up for a training course. The only prerequisite would be that you are a competent computer user (ie. can use a mouse, know how to open, save and copy files, switch between applications).

Design skills are not a prerequisite, but would be advantageous, as would some artistic flair and an eye for detail. You will learn how to use the software to manipulate and retouch images, along with lots of production and design tips.
