Adobe InDesign is the publishing tool within Adobe Creative Suite. Text can be input directly or imported from programs such as Word or Excel. Images can be created then easily imported from Photoshop and Illustrator, along with the majority of image formats. The whole publication is then put together with InDesign. Publishing is InDesigns’ core function, whether for print, web or new media.

The course guidelines below contain the comprehensive course content and booking form.

You don’t have to have used Adobe InDesign before signing up for a training course. The only prerequisite would be that you are a competent computer user (ie. can use a mouse, know how to open, save and copy files, switch between applications).

Design skills are not a prerequisite either, but would be advantageous. You will learn how to use the software to layout a variety of artwork, along with lots of production and design tips.
